Americans for Limited Government (ALG), formerly Americans for Limited Terms (ALT) is a conservative 501(c)(4) political advocacy organization active in the United States. The organization describes itself as being involved with "identifying, exposing and working with Congress and state legislatures to prevent the continued expansion of government." Its primary concerns are tax and spending reform, property rights restoration, school choice, limiting the size of government, and political term limits.〔 ==Leadership== ALG was co-founded in 1996 by real estate investor Howard Rich.
